Your credits are reduced in based on the amount of storage used every minute. For example, if you are on the Growth plan, you are billed $0.075 per GB per month. If you use 1GB of storage every minute, your credits will be reduced by ~$0.000001736 every minute. You wont see this reduction in your dashboard because we round the deduction to the nearest cent.
By adding more credits to your organization. We look at the total amount of credits you have added to your organization. If you have added more than $250 in total to your organization you will be moved to the Growth plan automatically.
Everyone can see the total usage and total credits in the usage dashboard. If you are on the Growth plan or above, you'll have a Grafana dashboard to view more fine-grained usage metrics as well as other metrics and logs.
You will not be able to publish any more events and subscribers will stop receiving events. If you do not add more credits to your organization within 30 days, the data will be permanently deleted.
Yes, you can setup email, Slack and SMS alerts in the settings section. You will be notified when your credits are below 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% of your total credits.
Yes, you can setup auto-recharge in the settings section. You can choose to auto-recharge when your credits are below 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% of your total credits.
You will be alerted via email, Slack and SMS. If you are on the Enterprise plan or above, our reliability team will also be notified and will look into the issue.
